The front: This piece uses one of my favorite pieces of linen! A very rare and unusual gray tone. It coordinates beautifully and picks up on the grayish hue in the delicate background stripe of the coordinating mid 19th century floral fabric above. Lovely lilac floral motif cotton fabric has the original scallop edge that has been hand stitched and shows some gentle sings of age adding to it’s charm. I have also added a antique metallic trim that ties into the golden hue in the foliage of the print.

 

The back: Has a covered button closure featuring again the delightful lilac motif.

All in very good antique condition dating from mid c.1800's to late 1800's.
