This magnificent pillow features:
An exquisite antique 18th century floral silk brocade textile from Lyon, France, famous for its silk production. The brocade shows some wear and small marks but is in good condition given it’s is age! The 18th century Striped raw silk was part of a drapery set recovered from a 17th century Parisian home. The elegant 19th century silk passementerie trim was also handmade in Lyon . Notice the incredible detail, each tassel is hand turned wood then silk covered!
